چکیده
Abstract. The energy imbalance at the top of atmosphere over last century has caused an accumulation heat within ocean, continental subsurface, and cryosphere. Although ?90 % gained by climate system been stored in other components Earth inventory cannot be neglected due to their influence on associated processes dependent storage, such as sea level rise permafrost stability. First assessment of continental energy storage in CMIP5 simulations
Although much of the energy gained by the climate system over the last century has been stored in the oceans, continental energy storage remains important to estimate the Earth’s energy imbalance and also because crucial positive climate feedback processes such as soil carbon and permafrost stability depend on continental energy storage. Here for the first time, 32 general circulation model sim...
متن کاملAssessment of sea ice simulations in the CMIP5 models
The historical simulations of sea ice during 1979 to 2005 by the Coupled Model Intercomparison Project Phase 5 (CMIP5) are compared with satellite observations, Global Ice-Ocean Modeling and Assimilation System (GIOMAS) output data and Pan-Arctic Ice Ocean Modeling and Assimilation System (PIOMAS) output data in this study. Forty-nine models, almost all of the CMIP5 climate models and earth sys...

MARCH 2003 AMERICAN METEOROLOGICAL SOCIETY | T his commentary describes how an examination of the global heat budget allows a straightforward explanation for understanding one of the consequences of human changes in the composition of the earth’s atmosphere. Data and analysis provided in Levitus et al. (2000, 2001) on increases in heat stored within the world’s oceans provide a unique opportuni...
متن کاملassessment of the efficiency of s.p.g.c refineries using network dea
data envelopment analysis (dea) is a powerful tool for measuring relative efficiency of organizational units referred to as decision making units (dmus). in most cases dmus have network structures with internal linking activities. traditional dea models, however, consider dmus as black boxes with no regard to their linking activities and therefore do not provide decision makers with the reasons...
